Tasty Dog in the Kingdom: This Cambodian Life #56. Back on a solitary ramble once more, Delilah recounts some exciting events happening in the Kingdom as of late. The onset of the cool season and all of the sudden – events and activities! Operas, marathons, concerts at Angkor Wat. You also get an audio sample of a few streets foods available. If Delilah were more adventurous, or less of a vegetarian, this might be a more thorough segment, but it’s not. Sorry about the dogs in the background, but they are a restless bunch. www.tastydoginthekingdom.com or questions/comments to tastydog@gmail.com. Ros Sereysothea is singing Wolly Polly from Cambodian Rock Vol II. I think you may even be able to sing along with a bit of this one. Hint: woll-ee poll-ee… And just because it’s so much fun, you get all of it at the end. |

Tasty Dog in the Kingdom: This Cambodian Life #55. Part 2 of the Cambodian Odyssey as narrated by Delilah’s parents. Back safely in Phnom Penh, they take in the city’s restaurants, rivers, exercise venues and a cool Phnom Penh architecture tour (www.ka-tours.org) that takes you into inner alleys of Phnom Penh. www.tastydoginthekingdom.com or questions/comments to tastydog@gmail.com. For the musically inclined, we have a lovely listen of those rockin’ Cambodians from the 60s and 70s, an ensemble of some of the hottest heartthrobs from the time singing Only You I Love. Swoon. |
